Are You Getting Your Emails From Saint Peter?

You should be receiving emails from Pastor Dave on Saturdays and Tuesdays, an email from Jeanne Maloney (Faith Formation) on Thursdays and a “What’s Happening at Saint Peter” email every other Friday. Links to these messages are also posted on the StPLC Facebook page as they go out. If you are not receiving these emails and you would like to, please check your spam filter. If you still don’t see the emails, let the church office know or subscribe through Mailchimp (the email system we use at Saint Peter) at http://eepurl.com/dE6CXT.

Online Worship On Wednesday Nights And Sunday Mornings

This Lenten season, Saint Peter is hosting online worship via Zoom every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. and Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. The log-on / call-in information is the same every time. If you can’t make the live service, we will post links to the recordings to the StPLC.org home page soon after.

Here’s that log-on and call-in info…

For a sampling of what our recent online worship services have been like, here’s a recording of this last Wednesday’s worship. While you’re watching, be sure to subscribe to the StPLC YouTube channel so you get notified of new videos.

Staying In Touch With A New Care Calling Ministry

A group of Saint Peter members has signed up to become a Saint Peter Care Caller. The purpose of this ministry is to stay in regular contact with all the members of Saint Peter.

During these weeks of not being able to gather face-to-face, we want to stay in touch with each other by phone every week. If you haven’t yet heard from a care caller, you will soon! Be sure to check your voicemail. :-) And if you’d like to become a Saint Peter Care Caller, reach out to Pastor Dave and he will connect you with three families, or whatever number of families your schedule will allow.

Continued Giving To StPLC

During these times when we are unable to gather, our ministry expenses remain constant. If you are able to support the work of Saint Peter, we would be deeply grateful. Most banks will set up automatic payments free of charge or you can make contributions through Vanco, Saint Peter’s vendor for payment processing. Visit the StPLC home page or follow this link: https://tinyurl.com/donatetosaintpeter. To avoid high credit card processing fees paid by Saint Peter, please consider giving by check. The echeck process is easy and cost-effective!

StPLC MOPS Is Still Meeting

The Saint Peter Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) group may not be meeting in person for the next month (or longer), but the ladies are meeting virtually on a private Facebook group and via Zoom. If you are the mother of young children and you are looking for a supportive (and fun) group of like-minded moms, come join us online!  Contact Stephanie Swift or Sara Orlino to get connected.

Habitat For Humanity Update

Brittany is selling poster-sized prints of her original artwork “The Lent Project” to raise money for Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver. She painted this semi-abstract composition one 5/8” strip a day throughout the season of Lent in 2019. It features the words to her favorite hymn, “How Great Thou Art.”  Limited-edition, signed, archival-quality giclee prints (17x26”) on deckled watercolor paper are available now and are perfect gifts for Mother’s Day or other occasions this spring.
