Veteran's Day Celebration At Saint Peter

I hereby command you: Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9

Please mark your calendar for Sunday, November 13th, for a gathering in the Fellowship Hall right after worship to include a reception to honor our veterans and active duty military. This will be an opportunity to listen to stories, to learn and to extend our gratitude for their service. Please let Ms. Mary know if you are a Veteran or are active duty.

Saint Peter's Women's Retreat

The Women’s Retreat is just around the corner on Thursday, November 17 to Saturday, November 19. The retreat will begin with a Welcome Reception on Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. and conclude Saturday by noon.

We will gather in the beautiful setting of The Hideaway in the Black Forest near Colorado Springs. The theme for the retreat is Healing and Hope. We live in a broken world, and this is reflected in our communities, our relationships, and even what we carry within us.

Pastor Vera will lead us as we identify that brokenness, and how healing and hope come when we center our lives on Christ. We will worship, study, pray, feast, and spend time in community.

You don’t want to miss the inaugural Saint Peter Women’s Retreat – bring a friend. The cost of the retreat is $190 per person. Scholarships are available. Contact Lynn Sherpe for those details. If you have any questions, please contact Jeanne Maloney.

Get Your Family Photos Taken At StPLC

Saint Peter staff will publish a new directory in early 2023 and we’d like to include updated images. We have arranged for Lil’ Angels Photography to come to Saint Peter on Saturday, December 10, to take photos of all who are interested.

There is no cost to have the directory photo taken, but you are welcome to purchase additional photos at your own expense. Of course, if you have a recent photo you’d prefer to use in the directory that works too! Reach out to Sara Lancaster with questions.
