There are many great photos from the Saturday Installation Service and Sunday co-led Worship with Pastor Mike and Pastor Michael on Facebook here (and a few below, too). Thank you to all who helped coordinate and lead last weekend’s events. And, welcome to StPLC, Pastor Mike!

APRIL 22 IS PROPERTY DAY AT STPLC
The StPLC Property Team has scheduled a cleanup day for April 22 from 9-noon. We would appreciate the congregation's help with numerous projects including mulch to spread, rabbit brush to trim, needles to rake, flower beds to weed and litter to pick up. Our biggest priority is cleaning the entrance doors and windows throughout the building.
Everyone is welcome. If you would like to help, please bring rags, paper towels and window cleaner. If you have a special project you would like to do, please let us know and how we could help. Please contact Dave Prichard with questions.
FAMILY MINISTRIES NEWS
LIFT This Sunday…On April 23, we will enjoy a "Wisdom of the Ages" theme. Let's see what we already know and also will learn about the lives of Saint Peter people who have been a part of our community for many years. We'll celebrate them with a birthday cake and so much more - including an accordion!
JELLY BEANS...On Easter Sunday, we began a “30 Days of Prayer” challenge featuring jelly beans! If you have not received your packet of jelly beans and prayer prompts, swing by the church and grab a packet from the outside bin or Narthex info board or let Ms. Mary know and she’ll find a way to get you one.
Remember, whatever we practice becomes a habit, and prayer is one of the best habits there is! Like for the Lent prayer challenge, there is a small prize for anyone who participates, children and adults alike! All you have to do is write your name on the paper in the packet and put it in Ms. Mary’s mailbox.
100+ PEOPLE GATHERED AT SAINT PETER ON APRIL 1…Two weeks ago at Saint Peter, folks from seven area churches joined together to share a meal, sing, play games, visit and serve others. We decorated bags for Project Angel Heart (www.projectangelheart.org), sorted, cut and wove plastic bags to make sleeping mats for the unhoused, which will be distributed by Christ in the City (www.christinthecity.org). We also filled Blessing Bags with items we collected, to be given to those needing survival items.
Visit https://www.stplc.org/our-life-together/2023/4/5/plarn-sleeping-mats for the full story and lots of photos. If you’d like to help create a mat, stop by the Narthex and weave a few rows on one of the three looms made by Bruce Guthals. Or you can see Ms. Mary or Cathy Bunch about taking bags home and cutting them. (Cathy has cut thousands of bags so far!)
BLESSING BAGS…All this month of April, Ms. Mary is continuing to focus on those Blessing Bags. There are a couple of ways to help.
Drop off soft energy bars, water bottles, travel-size sunscreen, and deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrushes, chapstick in the box in the Narthex
Take a Blessing Bag or two with you as you leave the church to give to someone you think could use one.
MONDAY MORNING MEDITATION SCHEDULE UPDATE
