BRING A CROSS FOR PASTOR MIKE’S OFFICE WALL

Pastor Mike says: “The Cross for me has been a sign of God’s unending love for us. To love us so deeply that God would become truly and fully human, live with humanity, have the full range of human emotions and die for us. This love makes me think of Colossians 3:14-15: ‘Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body.’” (NRSVUE)

Hopefully, you’ve heard Pastor mention the last couple of Sundays that it would be awesome if each of StPLC’s families was represented on his office wall next to one of his favorite paintings featuring a cross. Here’s a photo showing what’s been received so far. Of course, you are welcome to stop by and see it for yourself, too. Drop your cross (with your name on the back of it) in Pastor’s mailbox or in the church office.

HELP SPREAD THE WORD WITH AN StPLC A GOOGLE REVIEW!

One of the best ways to get the word out about our church is with a Google Review! It’s free to do and will only take you a couple of minutes. By doing so, you increase the likelihood Saint Peter will show up in a Google search engine and Google map search.

We did a similar push several years ago and saw a big uptick in visitors. Let’s do it again! Here are a couple of screenshots to help you navigate the process. You can also find instructions from Google here.

The Property Team would like to thank everyone who helped with our cleanup day on April 22. It was a great success! Unfortunately, we were unable to work outside due to the snow. A special thanks to Jeff Beighle, who cleaned all the outside windows during the week. Thanks also go to Steve and Denise Leighton for cleaning and planting the flower bed at the entrance of the church and Jerry Paul for his work in trimming the shrubs and his continual work outside.

What a turnout for the intergenerational LIFT event two Sundays ago. To see photos, hop on Facebook here: https://bit.ly/3L8ibjF. Thank you to all of our elders who participated by sharing their talents and artifacts with us. Thank you to Ms. Mary for organizing, too!

JELLY BEANS AND BLESSING BAGS

How is your 30-day jellybean PRAYER CHALLENGE going? It's never too late to participate. Whatever your age, pick up a kit from the Family Ministries' board in the Narthex. And don’t forget to let Ms. Mary know how it’s going! There's still time to donate travel-size toiletries for our Blessing Bags. There are several assembled bags in the Narthex if you'd like to see what goes into a bag. You're also welcome to take one - or a few - to give to someone you think might like one.
