THANK YOU FROM THE STEWARDSHIP TEAM

"A gift opens the way and ushers the giver into the presence of the great" (Proverbs 18:16). This fall’s Stewardship Campaign is off to a solid start! Thank you to everyone who has already shared their 2025 financial giving plans to Saint Peter Lutheran Church. We are getting closer to our goal of 100% participation and an increase in giving by $50,000. The additional giving will allow us to keep up with rising costs, continue to make property improvements, and hire either one full-time or two part-time staff members to lead us in our faith formation and outreach efforts.

If you have yet to make your commitment, you can find extra commitment cards in the Narthex. Or, visit www.stplc.org/stewardship to make your confidential commitment online! Thank you!

IT’S POINSETTIA TIME!

If you wish to purchase a poinsettia to be placed around the altar at Christmas, please complete an envelope found in the pew pocket in the Worship Center. You may designate your poinsettia for the honor or memory of someone, or to the glory of God. Just fill out the information on the outside of the envelope, include your $10 donation and place it in the offering plate. The last day to purchase is Sunday, December 15th. Thank you!

TANZANIAN TRIP UPDATE

Due to scheduling conflicts for many of the participants, we have had to delay the trip for one year. This is an opportunity for others to join the group. So if you’d like to be on the email list to receive information about the 2026 trip, please let Terri Mohrhaus know. Planning should start early next fall!

COVENANT CUPBOARD PARTICIPATES IN COLORADO GIVES DAY

CO Gives Day is an annual statewide movement that celebrates philanthropy in Colorado through online giving. Colorado Gives Day is Tuesday, December 10 but you can give early starting on November 1. Colorado Gives Day is the biggest 24-hour giving movement in the state and one of the most successful giving days in the nation. From November 1 through December 10, every donation you make will be boosted with a $1M+ Incentive Fund, made possible by Colorado Gives Foundation and FirstBank. Each nonprofit will receive a share of the fund based on their percentage of the total raised. Raise 10%, get 10% of the Incentive Fund!

Covenant Cupboard will participate for the first time this year in this major Colorado event for non-profit organizations. Click here to give through CO Gives Day and watch your donation go further!

SAVE YOUR POP TOPS

The Ronald McDonald House serves as a "home away from home" for many folks with hospitalized children. The Pop Tab Recycling Program is an easy way to support this valuable resource. Simply pull off your beverage can tabs or soup tops (anything with a pull tab!) and bring them to church! We will collect them in a large jar in the narthex for delivery and recycling.
