HOW WILL YOU REFLECT THE LIGHT OF CHRIST?

Have you ever experienced an epiphany?

Biblical moments of “Eureka!” might call to mind the adoration of the Magi, the gasps from those on the banks of the Jordan who saw the Spirit descending upon Christ at his baptism, or the awe-struck crowds who witnessed his miracles. Or perhaps we extend the idea of “epiphany” to include the Apostle Paul’s conversion on the road to Damascus or Mary Magdalene’s cry of “Rabboni!” when she realizes the identity of the risen Christ. Those intense, emotionally-charged realizations led to sharing and spreading the news. Once the truth was illuminated, it was impossible to stay silent.

Consider moments in your life when something clicked, something made sense, or something became clear. Have you had a light-bulb moment personally? Professionally? Spiritually? Ask yourself: When the light is turned on, are you compelled to share it?

Read on for many chances to jump in and share the light of Christ!

CAN YOU HELP COVENANT CUPBOARD?

Covenant Cupboard Food Pantry served 184 families on Friday, January 5. We have been registering more than 15 new families per week for most of December. On January 5, 2024, we saw 35 new families. We were blessed to have students assist as volunteers during the school break but are now in need of volunteers again! Please visit covcupboard.org to learn more or simply visit 2024 CCFP Volunteer Sign Up to sign up. Notice: we are now using a new app and are asking all volunteers to acknowledge a release and waiver of liability.  If you have been thinking about volunteering, now would be a great time to get started! Contact Laura Guthals (303-641-5645 or guthals@msn.com) with any questions.
