EMBODY GOD’S LOVE

Service opportunities at Saint Peter are catalysts to become instruments of God’s love in the world. Our energetic participation in an array of community ministries is rooted in our stirring baptismal promises to “serve all people following the example of Jesus and strive for justice and peace in all the earth.”

IGNITE YOUR APOSTLESHIP

The Faith in Action team explores a wide range of social concerns and raises awareness around current issues that impact all of humanity. We all have something to learn and share as we support each other to explore, sustain, and grow God’s mission!

Moved by the call to love God and neighbor, service at Saint Peter encourages respectful dialogue, curiosity, and advocacy. Events include hosting Faith Forums, documentary viewings, book discussions, authoring newsletter articles, and helping plan special worship and prayer services.

Serving with open hands

From blood drives and charity runs to food pantries and holiday toy collections, our community lives its faith through action. These ministries reach beyond our walls — meeting real needs with compassion, joy, and a deep commitment to loving our neighbors.

WORSHIP

Worship at Saint Peter is a rich, participatory experience with many opportunities for YOU! Each Sunday, volunteers provide support in the sacred tasks of welcoming folks, preparing the altar for worship, assisting with communion, and reading. Additionally, creative hearts and hands work to ensure that the Church seasons are properly appointed with paraments, decorations, and inspirational imagery.
