SAINT PETER WAS HOPPING THIS WEEKEND!

Between the Toy Store opening, the D.E.S.I.G.N. Team decorating, the chili cook off (which ended with a 7 way tie), Sacred Choral Sunday and Advent Fest, Saint Peter was a very busy and lively place for the second weekend of Advent. (Check out this Sunday’s newsletter for more pictures of the fun.)

The Saint Peter Jubilate Choir hosted the Castle Rock Chorale for Sacred Choral Sunday.

SUNDAY FUNDAY

No Sunday Funday on Dec. 24 nor 31, but December 17 is not to be missed, as we wrap up Advent and take another look at John the Baptist.

Come see the Children's Tree with ornaments we painted at Advent Fest just outside the kitchen. Borrow Advent/Christmas Books from the Prayground, and add a Wooden Ornament to the Sunday Funday Tree! Ornaments and colored pencils are under the tree. Or just swing by StPLC any time and grab a couple from the outside east side bin! Don't forget to sign your name on the back.

HOLDEN EVENING SERVICES CONTINUE DEC. 13

CHEER SQUAD!

  • Brittany Hass has a display of botanical art at the Denver Botanic Gardens (through April 1). Stop by the Gardens in the Gates Gallery and take a look!

  • Jonah’s Orchestra Concert is Dec. 19 at 6:00 p.m. at Smoky Hill HS.

2023 CCFP TOY DRIVE

Thank you to all who donated and volunteered at the Covenant Cupboard Toy Drive! The opening weekend was a great success. Thank you for helping bring some cheer!

PREPARE THE WAY AND SHARE THE ADVENT SCHEDULE!

Take a handful of postcards from the welcome table or the door to the Narthex and spread the word about the Advent activities and celebrations this month at Saint Peter.

HELP SPREAD THE WORD WITH AN StPLC GOOGLE REVIEW!

If you haven’t already left a review online, please take a couple of minutes this week to share with the online world what you think is special about our South Denver church.
