Our hope is that you will feel the GRATITUDE for all your GENEROSITY to Saint Peter Lutheran Church!

HOLDEN EVENING SERVICES BEGIN DEC. 6

ADVENT FEST - DEC. 10

Who: All Ages!
What: Preparing Our Hearts for Christmas
Where: Fellowship Hall
When: Sunday, December 10, immediately following church until noon
Why: Because we love to be in community and we love Jesus

We will enjoy breakfast together and have fun making Advent crafts (wreaths, ornaments, calendar boxes, banners!). We will have a community outreach project as well – stay tuned!

LOOKING FOR LECTORS

Please let Ms. Mary (mpratt@stplc.org) know if you would like to be a lector, especially during the busy Christmas/Advent season.

  • 6 lectors for the December 31 worship at 9:00 a.m.

  • 8 lectors for 8:00 p.m. Christmas Eve

What a beautiful way to capture and sustain the peace that is ours during this quiet and reflective season, as we prepare for the coming of the Christ child.

ADD SOME SPICE TO THE HOLIDAYS

Deck the halls with the D.E.S.I.G.N. team and stay for a chili cook-off!

Join the D.E.S.I.G.N. team on Dec. 9 at 9:30 a.m. and help decorate the church for Christmas. There will be team leaders for each area so you can step in and help in any way you want. After a morning of decorating, enjoy a brief Advent blessing service and have a chili lunch! Come when you can, stay as long as you can. Bring your best chili and compete for chili champ! Please sign up in the narthex if you plan to bring a chili so we know how many to expect!

CRAYON CHALLENGE ENDS SOON!

Drop off your tired, broken crayons by November 30! You are welcome to leave them in the east side outdoor bin. Thank you for making this Creation Care project fun and informative.

2023 CCFP TOY DRIVE

This year, we expect 400 children! To sign up or learn more, visit tinyurl.com/cctoydrive.

  • Leave your gifts unwrapped and label each toy with the gender and age of the child.

  • We are also collecting hats and gloves for the children.

THANK YOU, DAVE!

Thank you, Dave Prichard, for tirelessly maintaining the grounds at Saint Peter. As you step away from the landscaping role, you leave some large (gardening) boots to fill! Thank you!
