OUR VISION

Boldly sharing Christ’s love, Saint Peter is a welcoming church community focused on supportive relationships, vibrant worship and transforming faith into action.

OUR Mission

Saint Peter Lutheran Church revolves around two key convictions: We are welcomed, and we are sent. We are welcomed into God’s love, just as we are. We are sent into God’s world to be a reflection of Christ.

We believe we are welcomed:

• Just as we are – with no need to prove ourselves or earn God’s love (and with no fear of being judged by others).

• Because we are all God’s creation and equally loved by God regardless age, sex, nationality, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, physical or mental ability, political stance or theological perspective.

• Into a living relationship with Jesus Christ and each other.

• Into the peace that comes from knowing God through Christ.

• Into this particular intergenerational community of faith we call “Saint Peter Lutheran Church.”

We believe we are sent:

• To be a reflection of the love received from God.

• To offer ourselves in service to those who are in need.

• To reach out with compassion to those who are in pain.

• To be a steward of the earth and an advocate for those needing justice.

• To live generously with what God has entrusted to us.
