Loving Together Joyfully Appeal
The StPLC Stewardship Team has launched a special time and talents appeal that will last through Sunday, June 2nd. You are invited to test drive a new ministry project (without any long-term commitment) this summer to see which ministry roles appeal to you. As part of the appeal, the StPLC Stewardship Team has some fun activities planned. This Sunday, there will be a unique team building event (that calls for marshmallows) in-between worship services. Hope to see you there!
Make a note! Saint Peter’s summer worship schedule starts Sunday, May 26th. Communion services will be held at 8:00 a.m. (outdoor) and 10:00 a.m. (indoor).
Car Wash and Worship This Sunday
This Sunday, May 12th, and next Sunday, May 19th, having a clean car will be made very easy by the StPLC youth! Here’s how you can get your car washed:
Step 1: Reserve a spot based on the church service you’ll attend (look for sign-up sheet in Narthex or find Joel Waggoner).
Step 2: On wash day, check-in at the table located near the worship entrance of the church.
Step 3: Attend worship and sing loud praises knowing that your car is being cleaned.
Step 4: Following service, check-out at the table located near the worship entrance .
Step 5: Drive home smiling in your newly cleaned ride.
Thank you for helping the Saint Peter youth prepare for their upcoming mission trip to Mexico in June.

Mid-Week Bible Study to Meet at St. Catherine’s Wednesday May 15th
Our neighbors at St. Catherine’s recently completed a significant remodeling project, including the installation of a number of beautiful and inspiring icons. Father Louis Christopulos has graciously invited us to hold our mid-week Bible study there, during which he will lead us on a tour of the facility and offer an intro to Greek iconography. There is even a possibility that some Greek pastries will be involved.
Whether or not you have ever participated in mid-week study at StPLC, you are invited to join in for this unique opportunity. St. Catherine is located at 5555 S Yosemite St. An introduction to St. Catherine’s icons can be viewed at https://stcatherinechurch.org/sacred-architecture.
Cathy Motter, StPLC Accompanist, Begins New Adventure
After five years at Saint Peter as the accompanist, Cathy Motter and her husband, Al, are packing up and moving to Mesa, Arizona, to be nearer to family. Cathy will be greatly missed, not just because of her talent on the keys, but because of her kind spirit and contagious faith. Her last Sunday with us will be May 18th.
Best of luck, Cathy and Al!
