Saint Peter Generosity Strikes Again
Thank you to the many people who helped make this year’s Lutheran Family Services Backpack Drive a huge success. We collected 26 backpacks and $975 in gift cards and cash donations. It was a beautiful way to love our refugee and foster family neighbors.

Environmental Documentary - Before the Flood - Saturday, August 21st
Please join the Faith in Action team for a viewing of "Before the Flood." This 90-minute documentary by National Geographic features Leonardo DiCaprio on a journey as a United Nations messenger of peace, traveling to five continents and the Arctic to witness climate change firsthand. "Before the Flood" presents a riveting account of the dramatic changes now occurring around the world due to climate change, as well as the actions we as individuals and as a society can take to prevent the disruption of life on our planet.
We will gather on the labyrinth on Saturday, August 21st at 7:30 p.m. to watch the film and have discussion afterwards. You are invited to come early for in-person outdoor worship that begins at 6:30 p.m. and stick around to catch up with friends after church as we make our way to the labyrinth to start the documentary.
We are all trying to do our part to make a difference. You are encouraged to identify one or two examples of what you and your family are doing to care for our earth. We can all share what little or big impacts we are making and learn from one another. There is No Planet B.
