BEWARE EMAIL AND TEXT SCAMS

Folks have reported receiving scam messages claiming to be from the pastor. If you receive emails or texts that seem out of the ordinary (requests for gift cards, money, etc.) please do not respond to them. Contact a staff member if you ever feel leery about a message. Stay alert!

OBSERVE LENT AT SAINT PETER - SOUP AND SERVICE!

EASTER FLOWERS

Giving a gift of Easter flowers is one way to beautify the sanctuary this Easter and to honor a friend or loved one. If you are interested in making a donation toward Easter flowers this year, please check the back of the pews for a donation envelope, go online (stplc.org/support) or mail a donation to:
Saint Peter Lutheran Church
P.O. Box 3079
Greenwood Village, CO 80155

You may dedicate your Easter flowers in honor or memory of someone, or to the glory of God. Please make your donation by Palm Sunday (April 13). Thank you!

COVENANT CUPBOARD FOOD WAGON

Fill the Covenant Cupboard wagon with canned food and items for those in need. The wagon is near the organ. All are invited to support Covenant Cupboard with their weekly contributions!

Interested in volunteering to help Covenant Cupboard? Do you have any books that your children or grandchildren have outgrown — donate them to the pantry! Also, lots of volunteers are needed on May 10th for the the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive hosted by the US Postal Service.

Visit tinyurl.com/CCFP2025 to sign up for a Friday shift. You can help CCFP serve 180-200 families each week! Any questions about CCFP? Laura Guthals (guthals@msn.com) has the answers.

FIRST COMMUNION INSTRUCTION

Coming to the Table of the Lord is a profound privilege. Children and adults are welcome. Our hope is, however, to instruct our little ones before they receive this powerful gift of Grace. Please consider coming with your child/ren to a three-hour session Saturday, April 12 from 9 a.m. to noon. If your child is curious or asking to receive Holy Communion it might be time to bring them to this instruction. Their First Communion would take place at worship on Palm Sunday, April 13. Please RSVP to the church office and let us know of your intention to attend the three-hour class on April 12.

MAIL CALL!

Saint Peter Lutheran Church has a new MAILING address! You can send your mail securely to our new P.O. box. The address is:
Saint Peter Lutheran Church
P.O. Box 3079
Greenwood Village, CO 80155

Thank you!

SCHOLARSHIP TIME!

The Ron Leighton Memorial Scholarship application process will begin on April 1st! If you are an active member at St. Peter Lutheran, a positive role model, and if you have been accepted into an accredited post-secondary academic program and you have clear educational goals, you are eligible to apply. If you'd like more information, contact Ken Gerhart -- or, starting on April 1st, go to the STPLC website, review the instructions and then print and complete an application.

SAVE YOUR POP TOPS

The Ronald McDonald House serves as a "home away from home" for many folks with hospitalized children. The Pop Tab Recycling Program is an easy way to support this valuable resource. Simply pull off your beverage can tabs or soup tops (anything with a pull tab!) and bring them to church! We will collect them in a large jar in the narthex for delivery and recycling.
