January 23rd Congregation Meeting Summary
Bishop Gonia joined Saint Peter on Sunday, January 23rd. He led worship and spoke to us after worship about Saint Peter’s pastoral transition.
February 6th Candy-A-Thon For Catechism Kids
Catechism participants will meet for a “Candy-a-Thon” immediately following worship on February 6. There is leftover candy from our Covenant Cupboard Stocking Stuffing, so we’ll bag it all up for Friday distribution to households at the Covenant Cupboard Food Bank.
Meet in the Fellowship Hall or let Miss Mary know if you’d like to stuff at home. It can be done at your convenience, or even better, we can enjoy a hybrid experience and get some visiting time together! Questions on either Catechism or LIFT? Ask Mary Pratt.
LIFT Begins Sunday, February 13th After Worship
The next session of LIFT (Living In Faith Together) begins Sunday, February 13, immediately following worship! Unlike the last session where several small LIFT groups met independently, now all of Saint Peter will meet as one big group and then break out for a small time each session. Please be sure to let us know you’re coming so we have supplies ready for you!
Although LIFT plans to meet regularly on the 2nd and 4th Sunday each month through the spring, we will move our second LIFT gathering to February 20, because of the Congregational meeting on the 27. So, we’ll be LIFT-ing two Sundays in a row in February.
Annual Meeting Is Sunday, February 27th After Worship
The Saint Peter Lutheran Church Council invites you to the 2022 Annual Meeting on Sunday, February 27, following the Worship Service in-person and on Zoom. In the meeting, we will approve the budget and elect and/or confirm council members.
