THANK YOU FOR YOUR COMMITMENT TO THE MISSION AND MINISTRY OF SAINT PETER!

Thank you from the bottom of the Stewardship Team's hearts for reading our letters and brochure and listening to the temple talks this last month. We deeply appreciate your attention and your commitment to our faith community! Go to stplc.org/stewardship to make a plan for 2024, and let’s fill the narthex with stars! Your generosity helps sustain the vitality of the Saint Peter missions and ministries - thank you!

GIVE THANKS THIS MONTH OF NOVEMBER

All this month during Sunday Funday, we are focusing on taking our faith out the door to all we meet with suggestions for sharing gratitude and thanksgiving. Please join our focus on Gratitude this month! Here’s how:

  • Take a 2023 Gratitude Calendar from the narthex and use it to record what you do to show your gratitude.

  • Take a leaf from the narthex and write what you are grateful for. Attach it to our Gratitude Tree on the wall behind the Prayground.

  • Journal about your experiences being intentional about spreading signs of gratitude wherever you go.

  • Share supplies and/or thoughts with someone in your world – a friend, family member, or teacher – someone who could use a reach-out from you!

  • Drop off a canned good for the Covenant Cupboard Food Pantry in the wagon in the narthex.

SUNDAY FUNDAY UPDATES

This week at Sunday Funday, we will learn about the Parable of the Talents. We will learn about the two meanings of "talent." In Jesus' time, a talent was money, worth more than 15 years of a laborer's wages! It also meant "life." God gives us lives of love to spread to others, not to bury it!

DAY CAMP 2024 JULY 8 -11

Calling all kids who are in preschool through going into 6th grade for the FABULOUS and FUN and FAITH-FILLED Day Camp July 8 - 11 here at Saint Peter! Mark your calendar and tell your friends! It will be 4 days of activities and crafts and games and music and learning!

THE NURSERY IS OPEN!

All parents/guardians are required to fill out a registration form before leaving their child/ren. Nursery during church is for infants through age 5 only. Guardians must sign children in and out.

ADD SOME SPICE TO THE HOLIDAYS

Deck the halls with the D.E.S.I.G.N. team and stay for a chili cook-off!

Join the D.E.S.I.G.N. team on Dec. 2 at 9:30 a.m. and help decorate the church for Christmas. There will be team leaders for each area so you can step in and help in any way you want. After a morning of decorating, enjoy a brief Advent blessing service and have a chili lunch! Come when you can, stay as long as you can. Bring your best chili and compete for chili champ! Please sign up in the narthex if you plan to bring a chili so we know how many to expect!
