MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Thank you for celebrating Advent and Christmas Eve at Saint Peter. Thank you to the families and kids who helped lead music during the first Christmas Eve service. From a clarinet solo, to a chamber ensemble, you brought the carols of Christmas alive! And in the second service, the bells rang out to support the choir in a medley of “Peace, Peace” and “Silent Night.” Thank you to all who attended online or in person; thank you to everyone who decorated, sang, played, served, mooed or neighed. (Curious? If you’d like a recap, you can watch the services here.) This was a very special celebration! Merry Christmas, Saint Peter.
HERE WE COME A-CAROLING
"A friend loves at all times" (Proverbs 17:17). The Confirmation crew is visiting StPLC members living in assisted living facilities! The group visited Barb Hinchey on Sunday, November 3. She gave the group a tour and they played games together. Then Sunday, December 15, Confirmation carolers and Saint Peter friends and family visited Darlene Renevier and sang Christmas Carols to the residents. Quite a few turned up to the singalong!
CAN YOU HELP THE D.E.S.I.G.N. TEAM AFTER CHURCH THIS SUNDAY?
If only there were a catchy song: “Un-deck the halls, take down the holly. Fa-la-la-la-la, can you help this Sunday?” (It needs a little work.) It’s time to undecorate! Are you able to help take down Christmas decorations after service on January 5? Many hands make light work! Thanks from the D.E.S.I.G.N. Team!
SAVE YOUR POP TOPS
The Ronald McDonald House serves as a "home away from home" for many folks with hospitalized children. The Pop Tab Recycling Program is an easy way to support this valuable resource. Simply pull off your beverage can tabs or soup tops (anything with a pull tab!) and bring them to church! We will collect them in a large jar in the narthex for delivery and recycling.
HELP SPREAD THE WORD WITH AN StPLC GOOGLE REVIEW!
