TRANSITION SEASON UPDATE

The Saint Peter Transition Team has met 3 times, focusing on getting organized and discerning the tasks we need to accomplish. Members: Darlene Beals, Jim Bunke, Jodie Davis, Ken Gerhart, Dena Johnson, Terri Mohrhaus, Vicky Simpson, Arielle Wilson will be officially installed during worship on Sunday, July 7. Along with Pastor Michael, we have met with our synod transition coach, Pastor Christine, chosen Arielle to chair our meetings and Darlene to record meeting notes, and started working on a covenant to guide our work. At our latest meeting, we discussed grounding our work in the study of relevant Bible passages and the best ways to assure that we include a broad cross-section of the Saint Peter community in determining our future and that we safeguard confidentiality. During this season of transition, you are encouraged to share your thoughts and ideas! Reach out to individual team members, connect with the pastor (pastor@stplc.org) or email the team (transitionteam@stplc.org).
